why this page exists
I’ve been an avid reader since the age of 4, and I never, ever leave the house without a book. (Really.) A growing multitude of requests for recommendations from friends and family, plus a part-time (unpaid) gig reviewing books for one of the world’s most popular monthly book boxes, has led me to create these pages. I will never lie or gush over a book that isn’t good, and I’m a tough critic – especially of my fave genre, the mystery/thriller – so you can trust that I’ll be honest with my opinions. (I can usually guess a “twist” ending before 30-50 pages in, soooo…authors, you’ve been warned.) There’s nothing I love more than a fresh ARC and an afternoon or evening to dive in…so shoot me an email or a message (contact info below) if you have a book you’d like me to review. My shelves are holding on for dear life…but as the old scary story says, “There’s always room for one more…”
